Mosaico

A fresh and seductive music was conceived years ago in the town of Sedona, Arizona. In the land of deep canyons and mountain crisp air, three men formulated a unique and transforming concept of musical style that would push the edges of nouveau music to a new level of serenity and mysticism.

Sedona was home to Monte and Max, a nouveau classical duo with exceptional talent. The brothers spent many hours composing tranquil and beautiful melodies prior to the advent of "New Age" music. Their exceptional expertise in guitar and flute would soon be coupled with an entirely different form - the gypsy, flamenco styles of Gaetano.

Gaetano was raised in the culturally rich city of Seville, Spain where he was trained in the art of flamenco. Absorbed in the gypsy culture and the spirit of flamenco, Gaetano quickly picked up the "aire", (the essence) of the people. He began performing with singers and musicians when he was nine. In his travels through the Caribbean and Brazil, he developed a broader sense of flamenco music, incorporating the romantic and Latin influences of the music of South America.

Upon hearing the music of Monte and Max, a new collaboration was formed. That musical conception is called Mosaico - a mosaic of colors and textures in musical genres.
