Originally from the Saddle Lake First Nation in Alberta, Canada, singer and songmaker Randy Wood now makes his home in the United States. He is known across pow-wow country as a respected pow-wow singer and grass dancer. For the last several years Randy has created a new style of singing and song that has earned him listeners across the globe. His first solo recording Round Dance The Night Away was nominated for a 2002 GRAMMY award for Best Native American album. His third recording There Are No Goodbyes was the Best Traditional album at the 2005 Native American Music Awards.
