Laura Sullivan:

Pianoscapes for the Trails of North America

$12.98

Pianoscapes for the Trails of North America is a Contemporary Instrumental album inspired by the most significant Scenic Trails of North America. Tranquil piano combined with harp, violin, guitar and cello take you on a scenic journey by evoking moods and sceneries unique to each trail.

Original music by Laura Sullivan, produced by acclaimed Artist, Chris Camozzi.
Within the jewel case of each CD you will find the seeds of Blue Spruce Trees, a hearty tree that grows well in most areas of North America! Plant the seeds to help our environment and... Bring the trails home to you.

A Review by Amy Producer of Collected Sounds

"Wow, gorgeous, just gorgeous. If you are a fan of instrumental piano music whether it is background for studying or a dinner party, or if you just like to play it loud, lay on the floor and chill out, this is fantastic.

In college I listened to a lot of George Winston and this reminded me of that.

The even does a version of the classic, "Pachelbel's Cannon" (which she calls "Pachelbel for the Potomac") it is a favorite of mine (ever since I saw the film "Ordinary People" and it featured that haunting melody).

"The Kettle Moraine" also stands out to me.

Since I'm not really a musician I am not that well versed in theory: movements, measure, etc. So I won't go into all that, all I know is it's beautiful. Laura Sullivan is a talented woman and this is a lovely recording."
