Each section looks at a different part of our physical world. "Edge of the
Horizon" takes you to the deserts of the Namib (with New Age tones), the
greenery of Ayuthaya, Thailand (with Asian- influenced music), the crash of
the surf on the Cape of Good Hope, on a felucca ride up the Nile, and on a
camel journey across the Douz. You'll also visit Mongolia; Camargue, France;
the Canary Islands; Aheme Lake, Benin; Etosha, Namibia; Koh Samui, Thailand;
Garden Road, South Africa; Cassis, France; and River Fish Canyon, Namibia.
"Peaks of the Heavens" explores
the top of the world high upon mountain peaks, just beneath the clouds.
Visit the white-topped peaks of Mont-Blanc in France; the lakes surrounding
the towering crests of the Lofoten Islands in Norway; and the colorful
cliffside homes of Santorini, Greece. You'll also see the Canary Islands;
Dachstein, Austria; Geiranger Fjord, Norway; Table Mountain, South Africa;
Koenigsee, Germany; Chilcat, Alaska; Meteores, Greece; Pyrenees, France;
Bricksdal, Norway; Vanoise National Park, France; Dolomiti, Italy; Alps,
Switzerland; and Atlas, Morrocco.
"Cascading Waterways" travels down the waterways of luxuriant rivers, ocean
waves, flowing waterfalls, and streaming rivers, soothing away your stress.
Shoot along the rapids in Vetifossen, Norway. Stand beneath the waterfall in
Herisson, France. Splash amidst the snow in Hardangervidda, Norway. Relax in
the hot springs of Krisuvik, Iceland. You'll also journey to Krimml,
Austria; Trolltindane, Norway; Ouzoud, Morocco; Eastern Transvaal, South
Africa; Songnefjord, Norway; Gullfoss, Iceland; Pays de Loire, France;
Tanougou, Benin; Berg Mountain Range, South Africa; and Geiranger Fjord,
Norway. This nonnarrative relaxation-inducing DVD will inspire feelings of
calm and appreciation for the splendors of far-off lands with its lush
photography and gentle sounds.
